Luciana Butera, BLS – Associate Manager, Clinical Process Excellence. Luciana has more than 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She started her career as a Medical Librarian at Takeda Pharma Brazil, evaluating scientific literature to answer medical information requests. In 2015, Luciana came to the United States as the first Brazilian employee to complete a job rotation in Knowledge Center and Medical Information at Takeda USA, improving her research methods and ability to organize information resources to develop and implement a Scientific Documentation Center at Takeda Brazil. After moving to the United States, she worked as a TMF Specialist for Takeda Vaccines, where she developed a strong interest in Clinical Operations. In her prior position as a Senior Study Operations Specialist, she was part of the Sponsor Oversight and Inspection Readiness Team, conducting risk assessments to ensure compliance with current regulations.
