With over 30 years in global biotech, including the past decade as a C-level executive, Suha Jhaveri has provided companies and boards with valuable guidance on building a competitive edge through innovative product development, creative commercialization, government alliances, asset acquisition, and informed risk-taking.
Most recently, she led commercial insights supporting the development and launch of Cidara's Phase 2 and Phase 3 programs, culminating in the company's acquisition by Merck for $9B. Previously, she was Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Business Development at Leyden Labs, guiding the commercial vision and development across the product portfolio. Prior to that, she chaired the Joint Commercialization Committee at VIR Biotechnology for the 2021 GSK/VIR COVID-19 therapeutic partnership, guiding vision, financial modeling, messaging, communications, and government purchasing as the product moved from antibody to a $1B asset in 12 months.
She has also held leadership roles at Genentech and Chiron/Novartis, and co-founded a medical device company that she prepared for sale to Philips in 2018. She currently serves as a Board Director at Evren Technologies, Ltd. and Dynomics, Inc., as well as a Venture Partner at New Rhein Partners.
