William L. Warren, Ph.D. is an entrepreneur, scientist, and board advisor with experience spanning high-tech, biotechnology, government innovation programs, national laboratories, and global pharmaceutical R&D. He currently serves as a consultant and board member to biotechnology and nonprofit organizations advancing next-generation vaccine and biologics platforms.
Dr. Warren previously held senior leadership roles at Sanofi Vaccines R&D, including Head of Innovation and Head of Global Antigen Design, where he led teams developing precision antigen strategies and integrating emerging technologies into vaccine development.
Prior to Sanofi, he was CEO and co-founder of VaxDesign, acquired in 2010, Managing Partner at Sciperio Inc, and is a co-founder of nScrypt, an advanced 3D printing and bioprinting company. Earlier, he served as a Program Manager at DARPA and as a Principal Member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories.
He is a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering and a Distinguished Alumnus of The Pennsylvania State University. He has authored more than 200 publications and holds over two dozen patents.
